As You Begin Your Time of Prayer
Thank you for your willingness to join the fight for the end of sex trafficking. This is truly a spiritual battle. Once when Our Lord was speaking to His disciples about casting out evil spirits He told them, “this kind is not cast out but by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21)”. Please consider adding fasting to strengthen your fervent prayers. The young people enslaved in the world of sex trafficking need your support, prayers, and sacrifices. We pray also with an ardent desire for the conversion of all who solicit commercial sex and those who exploit children. May our prayers sustain the active work of abolitionists who are dedicated to the rescue, restoration, and healing of trafficking survivors.
The Mantle Prayer
Mother Mary we ask your intercession and protection for all who are enslaved by the commercial sex industry in our own local communities. We pray for their freedom from all forms of oppression, the conversion of their captors, and eternal life for everyone associated with the horrors of sexual exploitation. Our Lady of Guadalupe, we your children need your motherly care. Spread your mantle of protection over us. Ask Jesus to be present with every child and young person in captivity that they might come to know His love and mercy. We pray ardently for freedom from their suffering. We pray also for all abolitionists that are actively working to bring about the end of human trafficking that their efforts might be fruitful. Mother Mary, raise up more men and women locally that are inspired with a zeal for rescuing others in captivity. We entrust to you our hearts and we ask for a share in your own purity and perfect docility to the movement of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Prayer to Our Lady Undoer of Knots
Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exists in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon me and see the snarl of knots that exist in my life. You know very well how desperate I am, my pain and how I am bound by these knots. Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of his children, I entrust into your hands the ribbon of my life. No one, not even the evil one himself, can take it away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone.
Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with Your Son and My Liberator, Jesus, take into your hands today this knot…I beg you to undo it for the glory of God, once for all, You are my hope. O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution and with Christ the freedom from my chains.

God, my Father, I thank you for all that you are, and all that you do for me through your Son, Jesus Christ. I praise you for my life and for your mercy. In Jesus’ name, Father, I place myself entirely in your Heart. I surrender to you my whole self, my heart, my mind, my memory, my imagination, my will, my emotions, my passions, my body, my sexuality, my desire for human approval, my weaknesses, my desires, my addictions, and my sins.
I surrender every person in my life to you. I surrender every situation in my life to you. I surrender every relationship I am in to you. I surrender every concern I have to you. I surrender every fear I have to you. I surrender all sadness I am experiencing in my heart to you. I surrender all the woundedness I have to you. I surrender all anxiety and worry I have to you. I surrender all that deceives me in my heart to you.
I surrender my whole self to you. I trust you to care for me and others in a perfectly loving way. As I have emptied myself and surrendered everything to you, I ask you now, Father to fill me with your Holy Spirit and all the gifts and fruits of your Spirit.
Holy Spirit, you are the source of love, hope, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, tenderness, faithfulness, humility, purity, and self-control. Purify my desires.
Help me to open my heart to you. Help me to become perfectly receptive as a pure child. Help me to believe in your love for me. Help me to hope in your love. Help me to receive from the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus all grace and virtues necessary for me to become the person you created me to be. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
O, Most Holy Immaculate Virgin Mary, I entrust this prayer to your heart. I ask you to press it to your wounded heart and intercede for me to your Son Jesus. Please help me to be as you are, a perfect disciple, an obedient servant, a true child of God. Amen
